My name is David W Kline. I have been teaching in Prince William County for over twelve years. My current endorsements are English, social studies, and social sciences. Teaching has been a great pathway for me as I have learned many personal and social skills that have guided me to becoming a better man. Collaboration, patience, and dedication have been wonderful building blocks for my professional and personal growth; I owe many aspects of those skills to all of the teachers with whom I have worked and to each student that I have taught.

Every year I try to make the classroom a fun environment in which work. Although it is necessary to put our noses to the grind stone, business comes first, I do try to break the tediousness of work with activities that are not lade with rigor. Even though the "fun" activities are centered around the social studies or language arts curriculum and presented in a challenging manner, the students should find the tasks rewarding.

I am available most days from 8 AM to 6 PM at Rippon Middle School. When I coach football in the fall and boy's track in the spring, it is normal to find me in the building a little later. Please do not hesitate to call or e-mail me when a concern presents itself. Although I am very dedicated to my work, there may be some matters not recognized. Please alert me to any irregularities so that we may have a great communication. My door is open.
